    TalentFleX Solutions, a leading Business & Technology consulting firm, is actively recruiting a Regional Controller for a client in the Berwyn, PA area. The Regional Controller will oversee the day to day accounting activities of the Company's Washington, D.C. Metro region. Travel requirements for this position will require travel to Bethesda, Maryland about 3-4 days per month and the position will be located at Headquarters in Berwyn, Pennsylvania.


    • Maintain an effective internal accounting and management reporting system for development, commercial management and local office activities.
    • Coordinate presentation of financial information at monthly office update meetings.
    • Formulate and administer the monthly financial close process and collaborate with D.C. office and Corporate team to provide accurate and useful management reports on a regular and timely basis.
    • Preparation and review of monthly investment status reporting, project cash flow statements, monthly variance reports, activity reconciliation reports, general ledger, and treasury management reporting.
    • Ensure accounting processes and functions are responsive to the business needs.
    • Oversee budgeting process to ensure timely and accurate preparation and analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends.
    • Responsible for on-going forecasting process and working with Corporate team to ensure timely communication of material changes to budget.
    • Responsible for monitoring of project variances and cash flow.
    • Assist with the underwriting, analysis, due diligence, reporting and financial management of active, operating and proposed projects in the region.
    • Work closely with the corporate office in areas such as tax preparation, investor reporting and other external requirements.
    • Prepare audit packages for independent auditors; interact with investors who are actively overseeing their projects.
    • Coordinate banking transactions and maintain banking relationships.
    • Coordinate construction draw process and maintain on-going relationship with construction lenders.
    • Review bank reconciliations on monthly basis and monitor accounts receivable reports to ensure appropriate actions are taken


    • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with focus on real estate industry.
    • A public accounting background is a MUST.
    • Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA license is preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP financial reporting requirements.
    • Experience with Yardi development and commercial real estate systems.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel.
    • Strong Financial Analysis skill-set.
    • Strong knowledge of real estate finance, development and commercial management.
    • Draw requisition and Anticipated Cost Report experience are essential.
