    TalentFleX Solutions, a leading Business & Technology consulting firm, is actively recruiting a Senior Accountant for a client in the Wyomissing, PA area. The Sr. Accountant is responsible to record and maintain a variety of accounting activities to support Canada financial operations.  Responsibilities include accounting for Canada payroll activity, international intercompany charges, prepaids and vendor accruals.  Additionally, the Sr. Accountant is responsible for recording and reconciling various Canada bank accounts.


    • Completes daily bank reconciliations and posts cleared bank checks to the general ledger.  Reconciles customer and miscellaneous deposits.
    • Prepares the monthly bank reconciliations.
    • Posts all bank transactions (other than customer payments), including intercompany wires, payroll, fund transfers, NSF checks, etc. and reconciles bank disbursements.
    • Maintains the daily transaction listing of credit card charges and intercompany fund transfers.  Reconciles activity to funds received in the bank.  Completes the allocation of the discount fees and bank transaction charges.
    • Responsible to prepare and record accrued payroll.
    • Completes the monthly accrual for commissions.
    • Calculates and records the bad debt provision.
    • Responsible to record accrued revenue at month end.   Additionally, responsible to calculate and record deferred revenue.
    • Reviews and updates the account coding of Pcard transactions.  Updates and corrects coding of PCard transactions as required.
    • Completes various journal entries and performs account analysis.  Records and updates journal entries and reconciles balance sheet accounts as assigned including prepaid and accrual accounts.  Records and amortizes all entries relating to bulk material purchases.
    • Oversees and records year-end inventory calculations and posts inventory adjustments.
    • Calculates and posts the corporate income tax entry.
    • Calculates and posts intercompany interest payable.
    • Responsible for the preparation of various journal entries and account analysis.  Completes accounting for international intercompany charges and monthly vendor accruals.  Records entries and reconciles international intercompany expenses. Prepares the vendor AP accruals at month end.
    • Responsible to account for vehicle fleet maintenance charges. Records and reconciles vehicle fleet maintenance costs, including invoice coding and expense accruals.  Ensures month-end accrual information is accurate, complete and reported in a timely manner.
    • Prepares and reviews monthly account reconciliations and is responsible to perform various accounting activities to maintain accurate records. 
    • Actively involved in the month-end financial close process.  Responsible to research and record closing adjustments as requested. Ensures work is completed accurately and financial reporting deadlines are met. 
    • Provides accounting assistance and guidance regarding proper accounting procedures and account code classifications.  
    • Provides accounting support and assistance to complete special projects or accounting requests as required.  Works with internal and external auditors in conjunction with the annual audit to provide accurate and timely information.  Ensures that the proper financial information is maintained for historical purposes and in accordance with the company’s record retention policies. 
    • Other tasks or projects will be assigned as needed by the Accounting Manager or Director of Financial Operations.


    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting or finance is required. 
    • Three or more years of accounting experience. 
    • Must have experience in financial reporting and application of generally accepted accounting principles. 
    • Able to work independently.

    • Possess excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite 2007 or later, especially in Excel
    • Have experience with Google Suite, especially Google Drive
