TalentFlex Solutions, a leading Business & Technology consulting firm, is actively supporting a Water Infrastructure Operations and Infrastructure Management Services client in Pompano Beach, FL who is hiring a Finance Director for their growing team. The primary role of the Finance Director – OS-US is to partner with the BU MD to manage performance through business and financial analysis, planning and control, and oversight of the OS-US financial team. The role requires a combination of financial and business management skills. Ideally, the candidate will be a CPA or MBA with extensive financial experience and will have thorough knowledge of financial accounting principles (IFRS) along with excellent analytical, commercial and communication skills.



  • Financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting – including leading the annual budget process (operating plan, capital plan, balance sheet and cash flow plan preparation) and monitoring the delivery of key financial targets through robust and regular performance review within the BU
  • Participate in the development of the BU strategy including preparation of the 5-year business plan and development of projections associated with new or proposed strategies
  • Support the BU MD in analyzing financial performance of specific projects/regions and identify actions (cost savings and cash flow-related) to improve results
  • Develop and maintain a strong control environment liaising with risk management and internal audit functions to ensure compliance with group policies
  • Liaise with corporate finance functions (including tax, treasury, etc.) on matters impacting the BU
  • Assist with the investment appraisal process (capex approvals, service enhancements and/or technology to support the business/customers)
  • Oversee the external statutory reporting process liaising with external auditors
  • Establish policies, procedures and approval guidelines supporting corporate governance activities
  • Provide input into bid pricing and contract terms
  • Support the STS CFO with special project work (acquisitions, disposals and restructuring programs including the creation of F&A shared service centers at a country level)
  • Develop a high performance Finance team through effective recruitment, development and succession planning


  • Strong leadership skills
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of IFRS accounting principles
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting and cash flow forecasting techniques, financial statement analysis including trend analysis, project costing techniques, financial and business case analysis
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to set and meet department objectives and deadlines
  • Excellent analytical, written and verbal skills
  • Strong business acumen, resolute and impeccable judgment skills
  • Ability to travel when necessary


BBA/BS in Accounting or Finance with CPA and/or MBA and at least 10 year’s experience in financial positions of increasing responsibility preferably within a large organization, and:
