Overview

Human Resources Business Partner supporting Spring Township Plant- Develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures for all plant employees. Provides direction and counsel regarding human reources aspects of plant operations

Responsibilities

  • Drive the people processes (performance, development, and career) to ensure that employees' level of performance and capabilities meet current and future standards
  • Manage specific projects as determined in the annual HR operational plan as well as participating in functional and cross-funtional initiatives
  • Develop and promote feedback mechanisms for employees to infulence the continuous improvement of HR services and processes
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to managers and employees where appropriate
  • Design and deliver local HR practices that create and maintain the desired culture
  • Use assessment tools and metrics to diagnose organizational issues
  • Use coaching skills to infulence behavior and business decisions to be consistent with the values and ethical standards
  • Perform investigations and take appropriate corrective actions. 

Qualifications

Requirements:

BA/BS Degree

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources ( Generalist or Specialist capacity)

Minimum of 2 years of experience is Manufacturing  Enviornment

 

Postion Criteria:

  • Knowledge of and skilled in HR processes- performance management, engagement, recognition, learning & development, training, recuritment, compensation, employee relations and complieance
  • Strong analytical skills. Skilled in critical and creative thinking to identify the strenghts and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Ability to develop strong trusting relationships inorder to gain support and address complex, interdependent issues, needs and priorities effectively to achieve results. 
  • Comfortable with ambiguity-able to remain flexible in a changing business environment.
