TalentFleX Solutions , a Business & Technology consulting firm servicing the Mid-Atlantic, is actively supporting the hiring needs of a growing Mobile Technology company based in the Philadelphia, PA area.   The client has engaged with TalentFleX Solutions to conduct the search effort for a Sr. Middleware Software Engineer.  This position is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity scheduled for March onboarding.



  • Designing, developing, deploying, troubleshooting, debugging, and implementing software code for web and mobile applications.
  • Using Oracle middleware framework for designing mobile application based GIS and mapping.
  • Hands-on skills with design, architecture, development and unit testing of Java web based applications and middleware.
  • Developing solutions in compliance with organizational SDLC processes, interface design, and architecture.
  • Participating in architecture reviews, application demos, and technical reviews.
  • Prototyping new concepts utilizing big data and open source technologies.
  • Working effectively independently as well as in a team environment to deliver high quality solutions on-time and within budget.
  • Performing quality assurance testing and code reviews.
  • Applying industry best practices to complex enterprise IT challenges.


Preferred Background:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience for senior-level positions.
  • 4+ years for mid-level positions.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programing, and code quality assurance procedures.
  • Strong coding skills in the following areas: JavaScript, REST, SQL, HTML, CSS, NodeJS, AngularJS.
  • Mobile technologies:  Objective C, Cocoa, MapKit framework, GIS.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
